Skoutmate collects the minimum data needed to run the app and improve results.

• Account information: email address (if you sign in) and App Store receipt data for subscription validation.
• Partner details you provide: names, relationship labels, dates you add (like birthdays), and your notes about what they like and do not like.
• Saved items and activity: items you save, remove, or open so we can personalize and improve future finds.
• Usage metrics: limited, privacy-minded analytics (for example screens viewed and feature usage) to improve Skoutmate.

Skoutmate does not request access to your contacts, precise location, or your photo library.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to generate and refresh finds, tailor suggestions to each partner, maintain your saved list, provide customer support, and improve the product.

Skoutmate does not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as hosting, storage, and analytics. When you request AI-powered refreshes, your notes and relevant context may be processed by an AI provider to produce results.

3. Security and Payments

All communications are encrypted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Apple’s in-app purchase system, and Skoutmate does not store your card details. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain partner details, notes, and saved items for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
